1/4" Aluminum Screw Post Extensions

Our aluminum screw post extensions can be used to extend the length of any of our aluminum screw posts. These extensions will extend the existing binding length by 1/4".

If you are adding these extensions to 3/8" or longer screw posts, you will also need our 3/16" screws to fit these extensions. The 3/8" long screws furnished with most aluminum screw posts are too long to fit properly. While the longer screws can be used, they will not tighten completely and will be more likely to work loose with time and use. If you are extending posts that are shorter than 3/8" you already have the correct screws.

Specifications:

• Posts and extensions are 3/16" diameter. They are designed to fit in an industry standard 1/4" punched or drilled hole. The screw thread is #8-32, the same as our aluminum screw posts.
• The quantity per package is 100 for all aluminum screw post extensions. We can supply larger quantities on request. Please call for a quote on orders of 25 or more packages.
